To expand on this, in university I worked on two different semester-long projects in German Translation that involved translating articles from German to English in Wikipedia, as well as coursework in French Translation that exposed students to different registers of the French language. Outside of university courses/the classroom, I have studied languages for a number of years now, from French to Spanish to German and more, each to different degrees, and each allowing me to think in a different way.
