With over 20 years experience of learning German and Spanish, I decided I wanted to do translation and subtitling so that I could help people to share their content with those who speak other languages. During my studies I have gained experience in various different types of translation such as literary and scientific. I also gained valuable experience of subtitling and CAT tools. Alongside my studies I took the opportunity to develop my skills by working with Rev on transcription and captioning projects and also as a volunteer translator with TED.
