I’m an upcoming recipient of the University of Massachusetts Amherst Certificate in Professional Translation and Interpreting (Summer 2024). I’m originally from Brazil but I’ve lived in New York City for the past 15 years. Besides having begun studying English when I was 9 years old, I finished my last year of high school in Los Angeles. I’m an avid reader and passionate about English and Latin American literature, nature, surfing and Brazilian jiujitsu. My background is in the arts, more specifically in theater and acting but I also have a bachelor’s degree in law from Brazil, so I am familiar with legal terminology in both English and Portuguese.
