During my degree, I have taken French classes up to higher advanced level (estimated C1 on CEFR scale). I spent the third year of my degree studying in France, at ENSAI. ENSAI is a school dedicated to data-science and statistics. In my time abroad, I developed a deep understanding of technical/scientific language, which has been beneficial in my studies. Beyond this, I also have a good grasp of both formal and informal spoken French. While I have not translated professionally before, I have completed first class level translations throughout my degree. In addition to this, I own a wide range of French novels, which I regularly read. Reading frequently has allowed me to improve my translation process, and I can now read in French at the same rate I read in English.
