Resume:
I was born in Lebanon and faced the challenges of the civil war, which led me to relocate to Brazil in 1976. At the young age of 17, I was already fluent in Arabic, French, and English, which laid a strong foundation for my future career. These early experiences shaped my adaptability and passion for languages, which have been integral to my professional journey.
For 25 years, I immersed myself in the hotel industry in Brazil, where Portuguese became my new working language. My career began with the Hilton Group and later with the Accor Group. Starting as a front office cashier, I worked my way up to become a Senior Operations Director for the Ibis hotel chain, overseeing operations across South America, including Argentina, Uruguay, Paraguay, and Chile.
In 2001, I transitioned to Argentina with Accor, where I spent 19 enriching years. During this time, I honed my skills in Spanish and managed operations across various countries in South America. My role allowed me to gain valuable insights into the regional market and strengthen my leadership capabilities.
After retiring in 2020, I returned to Brazil and shifted my focus to consulting in the travel, hotels, and food business.
Translated ISO9002 Certification manuals for Accor Brazil and Accor Argentina into Portuguese and Spanish. My newest project is translating a personal blog from Spanish to Portuguese, reflecting my ongoing passion for languages.
