I am a pre-medicine student with a Biology major and a Hispanic Studies (Spanish) minor. I spent the last summer studying in Madrid, Spain in which I took classes completely conducted in Spanish. In these classes I completed academic readings, wrote essays on various subjects including history and social topics which all required researching in Spanish, and gave multiple presentations. I am proficient in Spanish and am eager to continue practicing my skills while back in the United States. I hope to use these skills as a medical translator in the future.
