Currently, I am completing my studies to become a professional translator in my country, Argentina. I have been studying since 2023, and this is my final year. By the time December comes, I will be a professional translator. I got involved with learning English as a second language when I was a teenager, and I have been constantly learning ever since. Going from one language to the other has never been difficult to me because I have this way with words that just allows me to express myself both in Spanish and English with the utmost legibility. Even though I do not have full knowledge of every topic and every word that exists in both languages, I can defend myself under any circumstances because I proudly profess an astonishing desire to get better with every translation that I complete. For me, there is no better feeling than to be aware that my abilities regarding language are improving. Furthermore, the skills that I have learned (and I am still learning) provide me with a rather convincing and empowering sense of confidence that lingers into my work. My love for words makes it easy for me to enjoy doing this and it simply fascinates me. I find it really fulfilling; that is how I know that translating is my calling. Although I can make a couple of mistakes (prepositions and fixed expression are my weak spots), I never stop learning. And that is what I love about language. It is a never-ending field of knowledge that is so necessary and so special… It is what makes us humans after all! As a sort of conclusion, I was made for this. I am never not going to put my soul in every piece of work I translate, because that is what I was made for.
